Which Anabolic Steroids Are Less Likely To Cause Acne

One of the many unpleasant side effects steroids have on the human body is the development of acne, known as "Anabolic Steroid Acne." If you suspect someone of taking steroids and are not sure about it, then the presence of acne on the face, chest, or back, in a severe or mild form, would be a sign that the person does use it. If you are about to use steroids, this would be an aspect to consider seriously.

Anabolic Steroids acne is firstly related to an increase of estrogen level or SERMs and less of androgen level. The higher the estrogen in the male body, the greater the risks of developing Steroid acne and gynecomastia.

Hormone Levels

Estrogen is a hormone level present in both female and male bodies. Just as testosterone is a male hormone but is found to some degree in the female body, as estrogen is for males. In men, estrogen increases the bone muscles and shortens the time required for recovery.

The problems occur when its level exceeds normal limits, usually in long-term steroid cycles or their use in high dosages. When testosterone levels go up due to chemical intake. The body's first reaction is to keep a balance, and this stage is also called homeostasis.

It triggers the aromatization process, which turns the testosterone surplus into estrogens, which causes in result acne and those bitch tits. All steroids may cause acne, but the sober truth is that the more androgenic it is, the greater the chances of waking up with bad acne on your body. Therefore, less powerful anabolics are more friendly and lead to knowing acne at all.

Which Steroids Cause Acne?

First, it is about the steroids that aromatase at a shallow degree, and DHT steroids do so. These are mild steroids, which will not help you to build an impressive amount of muscle mass but are very efficient in burning fat.

Most used during cutting cycles, such steroids as Winstrol (Dihydrotestosterone, Anavar(Oxandrolone), Primobolan, Halotestin (Fluoxymesterone), Masteron (Drostanolone Propionate), Turinabol (Chlorodehydromethyltestosterone) present low or almost no estrogenic side effects.

At the opposite end are Dianabol (methandrostenolone), Anadrol (oxymetholone), Testosterone, or Deca-Durabolin (nandrolone decanoate), recognized as one of the most estrogenic steroids but with great bulking characteristics.

Unfortunately, most of us want to pack on muscle mass, so using some mild steroids, which keep you safe but deliver modest results, is not enough. This is the time when strong steroids come into the game. It’s quite possible to keep Anabolic Steroids acne under control even in case of their use.

All you have to do is to add to your cycle some anti-estrogen drugs like Clomid, Nolvadex, or Letrozole, which keep the estrogen level within normal limits.

Why Don’t Pro-Bodybuilders Have Acne at All?

Pro-bodybuilders take steroids in huge dosages. Despite this, during the contest,s their faces look great with no sign of acne. How do they manage to do so? We know how they look during the competition, but nobody can be sure they have not experienced it during the offseason.

They probably do, but they begin taking control of their estrogen level a few weeks before the contest. Therefore, on the contest day, they have none of it. Please consider the oil and artificial ten they apply to the body. Which carefully masks any sign of bad skin.

Aside from this, the fat percentage of those bodies is meager, and this help to prevent acne very well. Most bodybuilders run a shredding cycle before the competition and drive body fat very low. Regarding magazines, then photoshopping did wonders. All pictures in magazines are retouched, so this is the last place in the world to look for natural bodybuilding.

One of the most popular bodybuilders Dorian Yates, had awful skin. The hormonal fluctuations and imbalances throughout the prolonged use of steroids had a say on his skin. Even artificial ten doesn’t cover scars at all.

Just take a closer look at his pictures, and you’ll notice it too. The bottom line is that DHT steroids are less likely to cause acne, while all others do so. Taking anti-estrogens is mandatory to prevent Steroid acne while running a cycle that includes Trenbolone, Deca, Dianabol, or Anadrol.

Conclusion

And these are just a few of them. Don’t give pro-bodybuilders examples of how steroids are not responsible for acne occurrence. This is their job, and they know how to manipulate it.

But you don’t. Since high estrogen levels may cause something even worse than acne - gynecomastia. Make sure you do your homework before running another steroid cycle. Be temperate and well-informed, and then you will always be safe.
